These are handy rigs to have in your tackle box; you won't have to assemble one on the fly. These are well-made versatile rigs with a sharp hook and common weights. I use longer baits on mine as the hook can accommodate them (and fish in my area like them), but it's nice that the kit includes a few so anyone can grab the kit and get to the water.

Honestly these work great. Caught a ton of fish the first time using them. Love how it has its own case making it easy to toss in your bag. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because it could have came with a few more swimbaits even just like two more. Other than that it would easily be five star review.

Sometimes when you fish you don't want to tie everything while rushing to get your line out. These Texas rigs are well made and make it easy to get your time in the water. I've used these in a fresh water lake and they work well.

Unfortunately I didn't look at or use before the return period had expired or I'd have found out that this is useless tackle as-is, and the only way to make it right is to rig it myself. I hooked up one rig, cast it and the bait flew off. What?? I had no clue what happened until I began to inspect the remaining units and found that the hook eye did not fully close on most of them, any knotted line would easily slip off the hook. To get any value at all from this pile of junk I strongly recommend either not buying, or if you're stuck like I was buy decent hooks and rig them up yourselves.

The only negative thing about these rigs is that they use lead worm weights, and, depending on the waters you fish, that can be a concern, or not. On the upside, the EWG hooks are, at first glance, very good, and they are very sharp. The beads with painted eyes are a very nice touch. Additionally, the rigs are put together so that the worm weight can be pegged at the bead, or it can slide roughly 10" up the line. While there are ten Texas rigs in the package, there are only five plastic lures (3" paddle-tail minnows in assorted colors) which shouldn't be an issue. IMO, these rigs would work better with traditional 5" to 7" plastic worms or lizards. But that's just me. All in all, I think these would be great in a novice's tackle bag, or a time saver for more experienced fishermen.
