So it's not terribly sturdy but the point of this is for them to eventually destroy it so that really doesnt matter. They give you twine to help you keep up the walls. My almost 5# rabbit loves this thing. He is kind of a brat and it helps him to have stuff to tear up. He was hiding in it when new years eve fireworks were going off so it also brings him security.

I got this for my foster squirrel who lives outside full time. I have a little tower built for him with a platform under the eaves of the roof that I’ve had several evolutions of beds for him in an attempt to find the balance between warmth and not being an incubator for fleas. He’s 18 months old and I thought he might find a mate over the summer because he spent many nights sleeping in the tree canopy over the summer but as soon as it got chilly or if there was a storm, he’d be back in his bed. I have a sheet foam insulation ‘cave’ with one side being tempered glass, the top has a hole that accommodates the opening on the side, and the front is open. I stuffed it with paper litter, corn husks, and unbleached coffee filters (to mimic leaves) and he was so excited the first time exploring it! He came down, did his little happy hop, jumped on me for a quick little cuddle, and then spent like 45 mins adjusting it to his preference. The best part of this little house for a squirrel guardian is that you can clean it with the access doors it the front and back without disturbing their nesting efforts too much.Sorry for the long winded review... but for anyone who has nursed a fallen squirrel and is looking for a good natural feeling habitat, this is the perfect size, is easy to clean, and my little guy seems to love it.

My bunnies like this, but for some reason it's collapsible so when they go in the big door, and then leave through the circle, it falls apart. But, since they like it, but took some yarn and tacked all of the sides together so that it isn't collapsible anymore. It's nice that this was of a decent size. It's still small, but most of the items that I have bought for my dwarf lionhead bunnies, that say they are for rabbits, have been way to small and I've had to return. Very frustrating! I've tried looking at the dimensions, but it doesn't always help. We are really happy with this, it loses a start because I had to take the time to make modifications to make it useful.

The description should really have “bunny†in it. Maybe a baby bunny would fit. Our mini won’t. Item arrived and was falling apart. It will require repairs to put together and the door to be left off if we keep it. More for a Guinea pig really. Or the Smurfs. Maybe.

This is not a good buy. Rabbits destroyed these in a matter of minutes, not worth th time and energy to assemble.

I have a wild bunny that hangs around. I give him baby carrots in the winter when his own food is hard to find. When I saw him curled up in a ball on a particularly bitter night, I looked for something to give him some shelter and thought this grass house might help him. I secured it with zip ties for better strength from the winds, put some Timothy Hay inside and some carrots so he would know it was his. I didn't know if he would even accept it. Next day, the carrots were gone and he was snuggled up inside asleep. That really made my day. Today I saw him chase a chipmunk out of it. I guess he likes it.

The rabbit house came flat and the ends have to be sewn on with string included in the package. It took a while to complete.
