I use this as a feeding plate for my tortoise. Haven't had any issues with it and it cleans up easily.

I was hoping they would not stain like the other feeding tiles I had but they do leave stains after washing. I wish they had a slight edge so the food wouldn't come off the edge when my turtle was trying to eat.

I love Slate plates to help keep their beaks filed down. The circular shape is different too, I like it!

I have four of these in various sizes. I have a 4 foot long set up for my skink and have expanding shelves in each side so he has added levels. I use the slabs on the tops of the shelves as feeding stations and to help file his nails a bit. I used Velcro to attach them so he doesn’t knock them off.
