The gnome is super cute, but slightly small. I know the gauge is for 5 inches but I assumed that it would be a little larger. It arrived quickly and secured in packaging.

This gnome is cute enough. But, if you actually intend to measure rainfall, you’ll have to make adjustments when setting it up. The rain gauge is glued in haphazardly and is not even close to being vertical.Update: Returned the gnome for a replacement. The rain gauge on this one has been glued in correctly. So, it’s either hit or miss or my first one was just defective. I’m very happy with my replacement gnome.

Very nice item EXCEPT a strong wind can blow the little guy over as it is light. Recommend a larger item.

When I think of a rain gauge I think of something a little taller than what this is. I took a picture next to a soda bottle to show you how little it is. Not worth the price to me. He is cute but will get lost in any area he’s put in

I really like this little guy, I have him to my Mom who squeaked when she saw him. The one thing to know is the rain tube is fixed (?glued) so cleaning will involve the entire figurine coming inside. The tube sun plastic so not as worried about breaking but I don’t like the idea of if the tube has to be replaced the little gnome goes too. Otherwise - love it

This is a small rain gauge, not heavy enough to be in a downpour without securing it to something bigger. Poor little guy ends up on his side instead of letting me know how much rain we got. I think he’s really cute though so I washed him and put him on my shelf inside with a small flower in the rain gauge tube. So in my opinion, as a single bud holder (not a big bud) he is cute, but as I rain gauge, not so much.

It looks cute, but is very small. The opening for the tube is too large and I had to put an adhesive on the bottom for the tube to stand up straight.
