These shorts are cute and the colors are vibrant. They wash well. A nice material and are soft and stretchy. The material isn’t too thin but not too thick. Breathable and durable. We bought the XS for our girl. She’s on the smaller side. They fit her perfectly. They go down to mid thigh and even a little past. Would definitely buy again. I’d say very true to size.

It seems like kids grow out of their clothes way too fast. I never want to spend an arm and a leg on clothes that will only be worn a few months, but I also don't want cheap clothing. I think Children's Place clothing is perfect mix of cheap price, not cheap products.These shorts aren't the thickest, but they are not see through and don't show underwear, which is very important to me. The fabric is soft (even when hung dry), stitching is done well, and they are durable enough to be children's play clothes.Sizing is always accurate. I've always purchased the children's place, and currently the Lg 10/12 comfortably fits my 70lb 10 year old.Best of all, my kid loves the colors and having so many options.

They are long enough on her and not too thick so she would be hot. They work well for regular shorts outside of school as well. I like the navy because it does not really show stains. They have been holding up with my 4 year old, seem to be decent quality. No complaints!

I love the variety of pastel colors coupled with 2 pair of black shorts. Generous length and nice stretch. The fabric is a nice weight and seems durable. Would like a pack in primary colors as well. Good wardrobe base.
