I used these as a stopper for the pokey end of the awl like point of a metal skewer to keep them safer. Overall they worked pretty good, only a few of them split open.

These are the corks I was looking for. They fit snuggly in my tiny little bottles and don't slide all the way in. I cost them one star because about a forth of the corks are not really usable. Being real corks, they have grain and such. The good ones are still worth the money and it's a great find.
