This was a gift for some friends who live on a demonstration farm, where they teach sustainable farming to the villagers in Kobina Ansa, Ghana. The rustic design fits the environment perfectly; all their buildings are mud brick, with hand made clay tile roofs, surrounded by banana and plantain, papaya and coconut trees. Sheep graze on the moringa bushes. You get the picture. Plus if the kids fool around and knock it off the shelf, it won't break.This menorah is very pretty, cute even, with flowers and leaves on the branches. It got 1 5-star, and 1 1-star review. I cannot find the 1 star comments, so I do not know what their gripe is. I like it. It is sturdy, nice to look at, my friends say the standard candles fit it perfectly. So I cannot imagine 1 star. I would ignore it. And my friends love it, say it fits their life perfectly. And I think the price is excellent for the quality of the product. It is cast of some kind of metal, and "antiqued." I am guessing pewter, but the description does not say. It is heavy enough to be solid, and stand steady as candles are added every night. We are all happy with it, purchaser and recipients both.

Received this product that I bought as a gift- the electronic candle lights were broken off with exposed wires due to the packaging inside the box and only the center light and one other light worked. Very disappointed as it’s a very pretty menorah, but poorly packaged and not functional.

Had a hard time getting this to work as the battery compartment says AAA batteries, but in fact it takes AAs. It's a bit cheaply made and wobbles slightly but is stable enough. Needed cleaning and polishing up when it arrived. Otherwise it's fine and what I wanted.

The instructions said 3 AAA but it was a actually 3 AA’s. Light is not very bright. I am keeping it because it still looks nice and better then any other I’ve seen

This menorah is really nice and looks great but took it out of the box and it looks maybe used? It has some scratches or markings on it even though it was in a protective casing. Not sure. I didn't return it though because otherwise it is exactly what we were looking for. Looking forward to using it and shining bright.

The design itself is nice. However, it arrived with rust at the bottom of the posts and none of the lights worked after putting batteries in it.
