It is necessary to have a choice of bit size. Techniglass makes it impossible to use a 1/4 bit on this grinder! I ordered a second level for the grinder to properly use a 1/4 inch bit that fits over the grinder shaft. The opening of the second level that accommodates the shaft and bit is so small that the bit won’t fit! I tried to find 1/4 inch bits made for the grinder 3. None available! I looked at 1/4 bits for the grinder and they SCREW into the top of the shaft making it IMPOSSIBLE to use a 1/4 bit on the grinder 3!!! This is OBVIOUSLY a tactic that Techniglass uses to make more money!!! Buy the expensive grinder to technically create with glass!!! No other options available with this company! Not a good business model and look!!!
