As much as I love the sound this makes on my dobro, it's way too heavy for my fingers. I gifted a friend with it and he's had over heels with it. It's very good quality, thick walled brass and I hated to have to give it up. Still looking for a brass slide that feels right.

This is so well made. It sounds great, really good balance between all of the brightness and detail of a steel slide and the warmth and noise control of glass or ceramic.

Sounds great but heavier than I thought it would be. That said, I have large fingers and the slide fit perfect.

I went on a mission a few months back to find the perfect slide. I now have a drawer with about 25 of them in it. The Rock Slide is the one that I use every day. It is the perfect weight, size, and material for me. The finger cutaway is a big plus in terms of comfort.

Great slide, great features: the cutaway works well but the edge is sharp, needs to be relieved (easily done). The specs say ID = 21 mm, the one I got is only 19.5 - 20 mm.
