Intelligently designed thanks to pressure-mapping technology, the Therm-a-Rest LuxuryMap Self-Inflating Foam Camping Mattress with TwinLock Valve delivers comfort in all the right places. The thoughtfully-designed 3-inch sleeping pad is made to deliver the right support exactly where it's needed. With a 6 R-value, the LuxuryMap is well-suited for camping in any season or condition (R-value measures the material’s ability to insulate; the higher the R-value, the warmer the sleeping pad). The expandable foam core will self-inflate once the valve opens. Equipped with an easy and convenient TwinLock valve, the sleeping pad has dedicated "in" and "out" valves to make inflating and deflating the pad easier than ever. The LuxuryMap sleeping pad also includes a stuff sack to protect the pad when it's packed down. Available in three sizes: Regular measures 72x20x3 inches inflated, 21x9.5 inches rolled, and weighs 3.25 pounds; Large measures 77x25x3 inches inflated, 26x9.5 inches rolled, and weighs 4.19 pounds; X-Large measures 77x30x3 inches inflated, 31x10 inches rolled, and weighs 5.13 pounds. Manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty.

- Update: I decided to rate-up this mattress to 5 Stars, in spite of the ad that this mattress features winglock valves, which the LuxuryMap 'Does NOT'. But that said, after exchanging the Regular-20" pad for the 'Large-25" pad, I found the LuxuryMap to be a terrific, high quality product. After camping for several days with temps as low as 35'F at night, I want to give credit to Thermarest for making this mattress provide superb comfort and insulation each night. The air foam mattress held its 'firmness' throughout each night, too! This is a brand that I can trust to provide durability and manufacturing quality.-Original Review: There are 2 serious issues about how this product is advertised. The item description is misleading and Ad is inaccurate:- 1. The actual foam pad sleeping area is 3” lower on each side. The actual sleeping surface - i.e. the 3" foam measures only 17”w x 69”l, when the pad is fully inflated. The ‘Regular 20”s x 72”l pad is the original cut of the fabric material, when the pad is deflated. 17"inches is too narrow for me and most likely too narrow for adults w/broad shoulders. It may be ideal for backpackers who are fully zipped-up inside a sleeping bag. Otherwise, the lower arms will hang over sides, using a blanket.- 2. The LuxuryMap sleeping pads do NOT feature the new ‘WingLock Valve’, as shown in the Ad video. In fact, the LuxuryMap sleeping pads may not even be manufactured with these new valves. That said, these pads are extremely comfortable and the 3" thick sleeping pads also provide very good R ratings for cold weather camping. I have a Therm-a-Rest inflatable foam sleeping pad from the 1990s, which leaked due to an accidental knife puncture. So given their excellent brand reputation, I chose to exchange my recent purchase of 'Regular'-pad with the 'Large'-pad. And while the fabric dimensions of the 'Large'-pad are indeed 25” x 77”, the actual foam sleeping area will be 22” x 74”, which is ideal for my body size. I gave it 4 stars - deducting 1 star for the misleading original ad description on Amazon.

Prompt delivery of a superior product at the lowest available price, with free shipping. I chose: Therm-a-Rest LuxuryMap, because I bought the original 14 years ago from REI camping gear & it held up to 14 years of daily use before getting a leak. The new design is thinner more elastic weave, so I highly dought that it will last more than 4 years. However, it's more comfortable than the original, conforming better to the body's contours! The new design also has 2 air values which are 1 directional air flow, rather than 1 value that's bi-directional. This way if you don't have lightning speed reflexes, desired air doesn't rush out when filling. Also undesired air doesn't rush back in when deflating. makes achieving optimum pressure for sleeping easy & rolling up tight for transport faster. Only real complaint is that it can static charge easily causing fine dust to be attracted to it. Yet it cleans off completely very fast with a slightly damp microfiber cloth. the dust easily transfers to the microfiber cloth. It also dries fast after cleaning!

I have lower back pain everytime I go camping, so I thought I would invest in a cot topper that promised it all. And boy did it deliver! I had no lower back pain, so I could really enjoy my trip. I thought putting it away would be a pain since the topper is inflatable, but that was not the case at all! It was SUPER EASY to deflate and put in the bag! SO WORTH THE MONEY. I would highly suggest getting the bigger size, since it fit my regular sized cot perfectly horizontally and I only had a little hang off vertically. Very light weight and compact.

It is thick and comfortable even for a side-sleeper. Also weighs less than other luxury sleeping pads we have had.

I measured the width of this mat because I had just gotten an Exped Versa 4r which seemed wider than this Luxury Pad. The width of this Thermarest pad is actually 17.25”, which is almost 3” less than the 20” width it is stated to be. Other than that, it is very comfortable for a pad.

Normally after a few days of camping my back is sore and I can't get comfortable at night. I decided that I would upgrade my 30 year old light weight Therm-a-Rest with something a bit more forgiving on my old back. Why oh why didn't I do this sooner! I Was able to sleep on my side and still be warm and comfortable. This matt is about 3" thick and a great insulator (an r value of 6 no less). The only problem with it is both my kids want it🤣. I can see this getting expensive. Whilst talking about cost, it may seem a lot but if it lasts a quarter as long as my old one it will be worth it.Go on, treat yourself.

Buen descanso, buena calidad. Un poco grande, no es tan fácil de transportar para moto/hinking

Bought various camping matts to trial, this was the best combination of pack size and comfort. Very very comfortable, loads of stability and unlike many other Thermarest backpacking mats is very quiet. Foam inner makes it larger than some but it’s a worthwhile trade off for a great night sleep. Recommend!
