We have renovated many homes but never done these types of spindles. My husband is a contractor so has experience with how to install these. We purchased them, drilled the holes as instructed and are pleased with the beautiful result. Strengthened them by using adhesive after installation. The reviews helped in our decision as well as a discounted price.

THIS WAS SO SIMPLE AND EASY. IT ONLY TOOK ME A FEW HOURS AND I WAS DONE. THE HARDEST PART WAS TRYING TO MEASURE EACH RAIL, FOR SOME REASON ALL OF THEM WERE A DIFFERENT LENGTH. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN HELPFUL IF 4 OF THEM WERE THE SAME LENGTH. NEVER THE LESS I AM SO GLAD I DID IT. I LOVE THE NEW LOOK!!!!

The set screws had paint on them and wouldn’t tighten. I had to buy all new set screws. I liked the look of them after the new set screws were tightened. It was a bit frustrating that I had to buy them and not be able to use the originals.

Appearance is nice too but was concerned for safety. All good.

When we purchased these no one had reviewed these yet, which is always sketchy. We took a chance anyway and they turned out great. You do have to cut them to size but the middle is hollow so it’s not as hard as it looks. It’s exactly what we were looking for so glad we took a chance.

First off I was missing a few bottom pieces and the Allen key. Then the quality isn’t worth 200 dollars. They scratch very easily.
