While looking for the seals to replace on the worn out one on our boat's toilet, it was VERY difficult to find the right one, so I wanted to make a quick review to state exactly which toilet to get this seal for. This one fit perfectly on the 875 and 885. It was super easy to install and worked instantly. The model/seal numbers are totally whacked and you can't follow them based on schematics/drawings out there. Imagine how nasty it was trying to find the numbers on our broken seal. I just saved you the hassle. You are welcome!

Replaced old seal that was curly around the edges and wouldn't allow the valve to close.Seal comes out easily and new one goes in just as easily.It took a bit to realize it could be replaced. Ordered a new one and popped it in. Works like new. ðŸ‘

I had bought this as a spare for the portapotti in the camper. Finally the old one got distorted and started to leak a bit. Put nitrile gloves on, pried out the old one with fingers, pressed this new one into place. Lubed it with a bit of plumbers grease to help it go in. Fit perfect. No mute smell from tank or drip when emptying. And this was very reasonably priced! Just ordered a spare.

After four years of almost constant use, my PortaPotti 365 seal is leaking. No instructions on the seal package about how to replace it, but I was directed to the Thetford website. Just the website, no specific area. The manual had no information on how to replace. I tried to use the Chat feature and waited for about 10 minutes, gave up, called the Customer Service line and had to mash on the number about 10 times before it shunted me to the toilet department. "Wait times are unusually long" -- why do they all say this? They just don't hire enough people -- and I tried to opt for a callback. Once again, the system didn't respond.

I use this porta potty constantly because I live off grid and noticed that the old gasket after a year was allowing the liquid to drain into the tank from inside the bowl. it still worked but I knew the rubber gasket needed to be replaced. Thankfully I found a replacement and found it easy to install you just have to remember to look at how the old one came out with the little lip on it going back in the same direction I think it was up. I also wore Disposable gloves. The toilet is like new again and holds the water or liquid as it did when it was new. For the money it’s like I have a new Porta pottyFortunately I ordered two of these so I have a back up because I know in a year I’ll have to change it again but it’s still cheaper than buying a new toilet because this is a higher end porta potty.

Proper seal in original manufacturers packaging...Simple to fit, just pry out the old one with a screwdriver. Clean all the *"'#$ out from the groove, coat the new seal in olive oil and reseat it, make sure it is right way up and fully seated in the groove all the way round...haven't used it in anger yet but it was easy to fit and the blade closed more tighter so guess it should stop it leaking when carrying it to empty..

Old seal was some what hard to remove, take note of how old seal is in position so you can replace new one with the correct side up. Make sure the area where you removed seal from is cleaned well and dry before replacing with new one. I bought Thetford seal conditioner, but it wasn't here before I replaced, I will still be putting it on the rest of the seal area so that the trap door runs smoothly against the rubber though
