This is a nice item. It's very comfortable to use and is so small you can tuck it in a tote and take it with you. You can literally use it just about anywhere, especially if you sit for long periods of time for your work. It's easy to adjust and comes with anti-slip padding. At a price point of under 25.00 I felt it was a decent bargain. It's very easy to use, and as I stated before, you can use it just about anywhere, making this a very functional item to have. Also, you can sit and still get your exercise. I would recommend this item for anyone who has a job where they are sitting for hours.

This is exactly as described -- except for the "kegel" exerciser claim. This device is NOT for kegels -- not even close. In fact, you don't even need any devices to do kegels. This item comes in 3 pieces -- the "wishbone" and two paddles that press against your thighs. All you have to do is insert the bolt on the underside of each paddle into the desired hole on the arm, and tighten the screw by hand. It's a large screw with a plastic head, so no problem gripping or tightening. You have 3 holes to choose from to change the tension, though the instructions are not clear on which holes provide which level of tension. Placing the paddles the furthest out on the arms provides the lightest resistance, while moving them all the way inward provides the heaviest. The screws are somewhat screwy (ha). Both my fiance and I noticed that when you put the screw into the paddle, it at first seems like the screw threads are stripped or cross threaded. You have to get it in perfectly straight for it to tighten down. Not a huge deal, but worthy of mentioning. The "paddles" where your thighs go are indeed adjustable, but not to just any angle. They insert into a hexagon-shaped hole, so you are limited to those specific increments (in a 360-degree circle). The counter is just that -- it counts. It resets to zero automatically if there is no activity for 30 seconds.Resistance-wise, it's okay. I'm used to using the machine at the gym with 130 pounds or more, so it's obviously not going to give me the same kind of strength training. However, there's a lot to be said for lighter weight, higher reps (Google "German Volume Training" if you have doubts). So, I can see this being a valuable addition when I'm just sitting around watching TV. Just do some reps!I could also see this being useful for people who can't get up to exercise (like my mother, who is a fall risk). She could easily use this sitting in her chair. Now, I will say, the part where you put your thighs is NOT comfortable. It would do well to add some padding here. I will probably buy some foam and glue it in. Also, the pictures are a bit misleading. You can't just sit and put this between your thighs and be hands free. It falls as soon as you perform the reverse movement (i.e. opening your thighs back up). You have to hold onto it as you perform the exercise. It would be a nice addition to add some straps you could put through the paddles and around your legs to hold it there. Not a huge deal, again...but worth noting.I likely won't use this for anything other than adductor (inner thigh) exercises. I know they tout it as being useful for arms or glutes, but there are much better exercises you can do for those muscles -- including exercises you can do with the two included resistance bands. Use one of the included bands to place around your legs, just above your knees. Squat slightly, and perform side steps -- 10 to the right, 10 to the left. You'll feel the burn in your glutes.

I'm not sure this would do anything to help your pelvic floor and certainly has nothing to do with the proper way to do kegel exercises, but it will work your thighs. Unfortunately, there is no padding on this item at all, making it painful to use because the plastic keeps digging into your skin. It doesn't offer much resistance, but is decent enough for an at-home device. However, if you are looking for gym-quality results (or craftmanship), then this isn't going to do that. It will get you moving and is a great starter, but it won't accomplish what you could in a gym. This also came with two resistance bands. They don't have much stretch to them and are a bit small, making them difficult to use. For the price point, it's a decent enough machine, provided you are not looking for miracle results. It does what it says, which is work your thighs and biceps at home.

I genuinely do not enjoy this product. It is very uncomfortable and slips in spite of being "non-slip"...and is painful, with no "soft padding." The curved pieces that go against your legs don't move/pivot with you at all so there's no way to get them into a comfortable position during active use. They really dig into the skin. I felt no real meaningful resistance. I read the directions several times in hopes that I was just using it wrong...but I was using it correctly. It is not worth the money, and I will ultimately just toss it... I will be able to repurpose the resistance bands though, which is why it gets 2 stars vs 1 star.

Easy to setup and easy to use. It comes with 2 bands - 15 and 25 lbs. The higher you place the paddles (there are 3 options) the stronger then tension. It is easy to use and I love the counter. You can also use this for your arms. I love the exercise of squeeze, hold for 5 seconds, and release (20 times) for your arms too. This is where the counter makes counting so easy. This is lightweight and worth the price.

I did not like this. I tried each of the three positions for the thigh pads, but I could not tell the difference in resistance. The thigh pads are quite small and stiff. Before I started to feel any type of fatigue, the pads were becoming painful. The thigh pads did not swivel and the arms are offset, so I found that also very uncomfortable.
