I have never encountered strings that were so difficult to install. They were a bit undersized for a 4/4 cello, but we're not 3/4 length. They're just too small. Once I finally got them installed, the C string only lasted one week before breaking.But during that time they sounded Beautiful - very bright in the lower registers and very loud.

The A and D strings have such a different tonal quality from the G and C that it is hard to believe they are a set.

The A string has a terrible metallic sound on my cello. I really hope this will change over time, but going from Larsen to these is a real downgrade (I guess you get what you paid for!)

These strings do not "speak" well or clearly. Avoid them at all costs!

Ho montato questa muta in sostituzione della muta che avevo comprato con il violoncello. Devo dire che, dopo il necessario tempo di assestamento (un paio di settimane) il suono e' veramente bello, direi migliore e piu' potente rispetto alla muta precedente. Adesso vedremo la durata, ma mi aspetto buoni risultati anche su questo fronte. Ho sempre usato Thomastik sul contrabbasso, e mi sono trovato bene.
