This does not fit all edelbrock carbs. I had to modify by grinding edges next to carb to allow clearance to fit. Also mine is a 66 ElCamino that has a throttle rod,not cable so I cut the cable mount off of the bracket. Fits perfect now.

Purchased this bracket to attach a 700r4 to a new Edelbrock 1906 600 CFM AVS2 Carburetor.In order to make this work, I had to remove the throttle cable bracket (cut about 3/8" from the top of the Kickdown Cable Bracket) and then grind the edges of the bracket that face the rear carburetor bolts. Once modified and filed, the bracket bolted up fine and the geometry seems to be correct (shifting at correct intervals).

It sits too far back and it’s too close to the carburetor body to work with an Edelbrock carburetor and a 700r4 throttle valve cable.

Used on SBC 350, Edelbrock 1406 and performer intake, and 700R4 trans. Had to cut the throttle bracket part off to suit my needs but very sturdy! Might have to modify but works great!
