amazing product, great quality comes with everything you need 100% will remove ticks off your dogs or even yourself.... the tweezers are very sharp and have a good hold, I have a lot of nail tweezers and these are much better. I love that it came with an info card....the pictures are much clearer and better than google, now I know that what I found on my dog last year was definitely a tick. it shows you what kind which is also important. definitely a must buy ......I only wish w e had this sooner. after removing I cleanse the area with oregano oil and manuka honey. ticks carry many diseases, seriously run and get this, great price and I have never seen a set as good as these.

Very good quality set of tools with case. It also comes with a detailed instruction card as shown. The other side of the card talks about ticks.The tools them selves are not the cheep plastic ones. These tools are both solid metal through and through. The green is a coating so that it feels better in the hand.With the use of the case I can carry these tools when ever I go anywhere outdoors.

This is a great compact tick removal tool and card to help you identify what type it is. The size is really convenient to carry with you when your out and about in woody or grassy areas that might contain ticks, the identity card is about the same size as a credit card & the case that contains the tool is 5" x 1 3/4". Fits easily in a pocket, purse, glove compartment, drawer, ect. Overall. a handy tool to have just incase a tick bites into you- they are hard to grab and pull off, and I hate touching them! I haven't had the chance (and hopefully won't) to use it yet- but will update with more info if that time occurs.

Includes 2 tool tick set.Purchased this because I have alot of boys and they are tick magnets. The set is very sturdy and compact. Great for your first aid kit or EDC. Both are pretty straight forward. I especially like the long thin tweezers for smaller ticks. Helps to get the head and all without crushing.Must have if you are always in tick areas.

This is a nice little set in a faux leather case - it has two tools, the v-shaped tick remover, and a set of tweezers. Both are fully made of metal, and the tick remover tool has a knurled handle like I'd expect of a dentistry tool. I liked the card showing common north american ticks and instructions on how to remove them... Though, the instructions seem a little generic - I've heard that you're supposed to carefully remove ticks so they don't get squished or severed and potentially infect a bite site... One side of the card shows common ticks and their varied sizes and appearance, and the other reads as follows:"In most cases, the slotted tick remover will be your best choice. When found most ticks are partially engorged with blood. This expansion makes the tick fragile and subject to damage by tweezers. The slotted tool will not squeeze the tick and it's [sic] unlikely to cause damage that may release tick fluids. Hold the tool so that the slotted portion is flat onto the skin. PLACE TOOL CAPTURE & LIFTHold tweezer so gripping part is near the tick. Carefully position the tool so it does not grip any hair/fur as this can cause discomfort. Place tool around the tick so you will grip the tick at the attachment point, don't pinch the skin. Close jaws around the tick to capture it and then lift tick from the skin. I live out in a rural area surrounded by woods, and ticks are a common problem here. We also have a fairly common occurrence of tick born illnesses around here, tick fever, alph gal, lyme, etc. Having a tool like this, to remove them without squeezing, is your best defense aginst these illnesses when removing the ticks! I love the little case it has, and that it comes with an ID card so you can try to id the type incase you need to see your doctor. Seems well made and sturdy! I like that it is metal, with an easy plastic grip handle. Definitely something I like having around!

This comes with a little case and two nice metal tools. The removal end is definitely stainless steel and the handles feel like steel as well. The removal tool is 24g and the tweezers are 15g. I haven't used these to remove a tick yet, but the design is well proven and I'm confident it will work.I also really like the included ID card. It shows two different angles for 5 different types of ticks including 4 images of differently bloated states for the ticks. Just makes it easier to identify what type of tick and what state it's in.

These are real tools that actually work quite well.The tweezers alone are worth the price of the set.They are excellent and will dig out even the most imbedded tick from someone’s hide.The V-notch removal tool may work some of the time but if you had to choose only one of the included tools, pick the tweezers.Everything is well made and it all comes in a neat little carry case so you’ll always have the set handy.Get a couple of these sets and keep them wherever you expect to encounter ticks.Then, hope that you never actually need to use it.Cheers !
