Set up was simple and the tie downs made lifting and securing kayaks an easy one person job. The kayak straps are also well made and I appreciated the connecting strap that prevents the two loops going over each end of the kayak from slipping off.One kit did come with a missing hook but their customer service immediately offered to replace at no charge.5 stars, great product that inspires confidence my kayaks are safely stored.One tip - if mounting in a garage with exposed cross beams, get a set of heavy duty tree swing straps to hook onto. Saves sinking hooks into the beams and the straps can be easily moved to account for the length of the kayak being stored.

works great but very hard to hoist up there without physically lifting up on the kayak. The Straps that go on the kayak are awesome very easy to adjust and strong.

I am not using the sling as it was intended. I needed a simple system to hand my Porsche Boxster hardtop for the summer when I am using the convertible soft top.

I like that it has the straps that are wide and sturdy to around the kayak. Feel very comfortable with them hanging because of the quality in the straps.

This pulley system is fantastic! I’m 5’4†without a lot of upper body strength. I was able to lift my kayak to the ceiling by just wrapping the cord around my elbows and pulling backwards in short increments. The pulleys caught the ropes without fail with each incremental stop when I needed to adjust my position. I did need a ladder to raise the kayak the last couple of feet since I decided to store horizontally versus vertically. This only has the ropes, pulleys and strap/brace. You will need to purchase an eye hook or whatever you use to attach to the wall or ceiling (I used large eye-hooks screwed into the ceiling beams). Great purchase!

I did my research and found that this was the best buy I could get to arrange my kayak and save space. It is easy for me to get up and down from the wall. I had someone mount it but that was all the help I needed after that.
