This item does not fit the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500HD. I wish I could have figured this out before the return date had passed. I'm stuck with a paper weight now, unless the manufacture would be willing to exchange it for the correct one. I'm guessing this item would fit the non HD version. Bearing size is about 1/2 inch in diameter too small to fit on the 1500HD.

My mechanic said that he was really glad that I purchased this part, and not a cheaper knockoff.The fitment was spot on, and the installation was a breeze. Great part, great price, couldn't ask for anything more.

I was concerned when the ad stated only bearing wondering if it came with the yolk, it is the complete unit. Delivery was fast and price was good.

I got the part, and pulled off the old bearing just to find out the inside diameter was not the same. The original has a inside diameter of 1.575 inches, where the replacement has a 1.378 inches. The online parts description didn't show I.D. sizes.Other than that, it looks to be a solidly built part, strong metal housing/frame, dense solid rubber bushing. Would have really liked to use it but had to return it.
