USE: My 7 year old's on-line schooling.PRO's: These are really cute. My son loves Minecraft, and these have a "Minecraft" look. My son loves getting these pencils out, so it's much easier to get him to do his work with these fun pencils. I also love that they don't have to be sharpened, and my son gets to use hand/finger dexterity removing the dull lead and putting in a new one. I love not having to stop his work to get (find) a pencil sharper. We tried the mechanical pencils and he just kept breaking the lead, this is a much better option for him. I don't have to deal with bad pencils that don't sharpen well and the distraction and frustration that comes with them. I also love ha cap so that my son can put these in his bag or I can put them in my purse, etc. and don't have to worry about them breaking or marking things up.CON's: 1. I'm guessing with normal use/sharpening, this pencil may not last as long as a regular wood pencil, but with how my son sharpens his pencils, we were going through quite a few and it was getting frustrating finding a sharpener, and leaving his virtual classroom. Just when I thought I had resolved the pencil sharpener issue by getting an electric one, I found that he would sharpen it down pretty quickly, so this pencil seems to be the best option. 2. The eraser falls out most of the times he tries to use. We fixed this by buying pencil erasers that go over the end (however, the cap won't fit on it while writing with it, but he doesn't care).OVERALL: We have suggested this to other friends because of the issues with sharpening pencils at this age (it's a game most of the time and some pencils are so cheap that they don't sharpen well and you just run them down and get frustrated with them anyway - sharpening becomes a distraction as well). We need a little more fun and a little less frustration (especially while on-line learning), so this was well worth every penny! We will definitely be buying these again, but for now, 24 should last a long time!

I love pencils like this because my kid presses hard and destroys pencil tips. We got these as goody bag favors for his Minecraft-themed party. The eraser isn't attached fully but sits well in the cap. The kids were all thrilled and this is a very useful gift and a great value for the cost.

I have a Minecraft girl who had to have Minecraft Valentine's goody bags. We put one of these in each bag with some other goodies and it was perfect!
