The old ammeter was broken by the previous owner of my Case 446 garden tractor. I purchased this ammeter as a replacement and it fit the Case dashboard perfectly. Looks very similar to the original and works well. Its easy to install and priced right.Installation Tip: snug like a turn over hand tight, but do not over-tighten the nuts on the fastening bracket.

Used this on an 8N Ford tractor with 12V conversion to alternator and works as expected. I'm very pleased with the gauge.

The ammeter works fine. It was too big for the ammeter cutout on the dash of our 2N Ford Tractor. It would fit in the oil gauge cutout just fine. Ford just made the ammeter cutout smaller. I used a Dremel tool with a small stone and enlarged the cutout.
