This works great, exactly what I needed. I walk 1/2 mile to the lake, the first 1/4 on payment, and the second 1/4 on a semi-rough trail. This is the ticket to transporting your kayak. The price was right on this version, I don't know what could be different on the ones costing 2 or 3 times as much. But be warned, there are no instructions at all. Simply the pieces in cardboard shipping box, no "product" box. The tires came very under inflated, so you will need to take them and have them inflated before using. As everyone else notes, the tires do smell, but the smell on mine went away quickly. (The box retained the smell worse than the tires did, so discard it quickly.)I wasn't even sure what should be the front or back. I tried to look at pictures on-line of people using similar ones, and it looks like people use them both ways. After reading suggestions, I ended up putting the legs in front, so they will fold backwards. As far as connecting the kayak using the strap, As someone else pointed out, the easiest way to strap the kayak on is to start by setting the kayak on the cart, lay the strap across the top of the kayak with the end hanging down on both sides, run each end through the tube/side of the cart underneath, and then bring both sides of the strap back on top and fasten the clip on top of the kayak. Once fastened tightly, I have had no problems with my kayak falling off, even on fairly rough terrain. However, if I pick up the back end of the kayak, the wheels/cart will collapse down, so be careful there. Also to make pulling it easier, put the kayak on the cart about where the seat is, or just a little ways back of the center of gravity. It will work fine if you put it towards the back of the kayak, but you will end up supporting more of the weight when you pull it. Ideally, you want the cart to support most of all the weight, with you supplying the forward motion.I also tried one of the kayak/SUP over-the-shoulder straps, and that didn't work well at all. The cart works really well. Highly recommended if you have to carry your kayak any distance at all.

This trolley is a life saver. My kayak is only 25 lb, but I have lots of additional gear to carry with me from the car down onto the lake front. The walk is about 200 meters away from my car, and with about 45 pounds of gear on me including the kayak, it's pain to get down to the water in one go. This carrier allows me to pull off my kayak, set it safely on top, then load the rest of my equipment into the cockpit while the kayak rests on the carrier.I did not receive a strap, however one bungie cable is enough to secure the kayak firmly enough to take on minor bumps and roots on the way to the water. I will probably get a cam strap in the future for this to secure it more firmly as if the wheels catch right now, the kayak slides around. The wheels smell really bad for about a week, before settling down to smelling very little/nothing unless you bend really close. Open up in the garage and let it sit around. Better yet, let it sit in the sun for the afternoon to bake the smell away faster. The wheels come off and the carrier collapses down very small. I wrap it up in a towel and am able to stow it away inside my kayak (Epic GPX)'s dry storage compartment once I get to the water. Very convenient. When I'm done, I just pop it back out, set it up and drag the kayak back to my car. Zero hassle at all.

Update 8/26/2014 - As I said in the title... "Worth ignoring flaws", therefore I've upgraded my rating from 4 to 5-star. The process for the seller to replace the defective wheel was easy and took less than a week. I've now used this cart for a 14ft fiberglass canoe with all my day-trip gear (including battery & electric motor) and it works great. Remarkable design & value!+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++This cart is a remarkable value, superb design and very well made! I would have given it 5-stars if it were not for the annoyance of having to deal with requesting the replacement of a defective wheel. Otherwise, for the $25 price tag (+ shipping) it would not be possible to even begin buying the parts to improvise one's own cart. In other words, aside from defective wheel problems I consider many of the reported annoyances to be no-big-deal.For defective wheels others have reported `won't-hold-air-pressure'. In my case one of the wheels had small plastic `growths' on the inside of the bore, thus it would not fit over the axel. That's a DEFECTIVE product!Other wheel annoyances... Wheel odor in my Aug '14 delivery was no problem, no different than when getting new tires on my car. Both my wheels arrived deflated and inflating them requires finding a spigot that will fit in tight spaces (my bike pump didn't work). Note that the wheel valves need to be toward the inside of the cart, otherwise they will bump into the wheel-holding pin. Inflate to 30 psi max. Spray the axel with dry lubricant for extra measure (never oil or grease that would soon gunk-up).Holding your kayak or canoe securely... Just forget the flimsy hold-down strap that came with the cart. Instead I use the straps that hold down my canoe on my car's roof rack (metal clamps). Short as this cart is, I use one strap for each of the forward/aft under-canoe-supports. Once I line-up the wheels with the canoe and cinch-up the straps the cart-&-canoe are inseparable. The tripod stand is a great feature for holding the cart steady while you load you canoe/kayak, easily retractable once you have strapped down your craft.Cheers!

I found the cart it self is great works as it should. The strap is complete garbage so dont bother using it use a ratchet strap or 2, bungee cords also work good. It makes easy launching of my 12'x30" kayak easy and quick also works great for transportimg your boat easily by yourself. Load up all you gear in it and its sturdy. The tires are rated for 60 psi dont do that you dont need more then 25. I am certain the plastic rim would explode.

material metálico excelente. las llantas deberían ser. con cámaras de aire. ya que con el peso se deforman
