I used to do a lot of needlepoint and somewhere along the line I stopped. But when I saw this one with cats, I just had to have it and I will frame it once done. I have cats and this will be a nice tribute to them. I also love colors and this is very colorful. It will also provide me with hours of relaxation. I am high energy and the repetition of needlepoint actually relaxes me. I can't wait to start it.

While I am enjoying this, I am aggrivated with the fact that the yarn is terrible.They are different sizes and consistancies. Whicj is irritating, however, I am enjoying it regardless.

The design on the needlepoint pillow was wonderful- loved it! However, when I started to stitch it with the yarn that was enclosed, either the holes on the pillow were unevenly punched out or the yarn was of such poor quality that it immediately started to unravel and shred as I pulled it through the holes. I contacted the company, and I enclosed pictures and what I thought was wrong- either the netting or the yarn. They suggested I cut the yarn into smaller lengths so it might not ravel. Good grief! They never offered another set to try. I did ask them to send me 6 strand embroidery thread as I thought I might be able to make it work with that rather than the yarn they sent. The company refused to do that, but said they would send more yarn of the same type. Poor company. So sad.

The yarn begins to shred immediately - this is not a quality needlepoint set. Also note that they only provide enough yarn for half cross stitching - so if you want sturdy continental/basketweave tent stitches or any creative stitches, there will not be enough yarn provided.
