I needed something strong to hang room darkening lined curtains from either the ceiling or as close it it as possible. I spray painted them gold to match my home office decor and they were easy to install. Look great!! Will be ordering more for other rooms in my home .

These worked fine for attaching curtains to ceiling for a canopy bed effect. Not a perfect finish but for the price and size, good. Easily fit 1 and1/8 inch or 29mm rod. Will fit a 1" (30mm) EMT pipe for size test, but I wouldn't count on them holding that kind of weight, especially with any kind of flexing. Some of the mount holes are a bit out of round which only matters trying to fit largest diameter screws. Welds look strong, but I easily bent (thin) receiving ring at the weld with a length of pipe and with a few wiggles broke it (test). Leaving a rod unsupported on one of these while mounting will bend the ring, so I would be more careful next time. If you're trying to find a stud to mount in drywall, use a neodymium magnet to find nails. Not sure if there is a lot to be gained by stud mounting, when the weak point is the weld at the ring.

I’ve been installing draperies professionally since 1993 and I’ve watched hardware change over the years.Currently it seems limited to either very expensive hardware or very cheap stuff.About fifteen years ago I started building my own rods and brackets because finding rods that were satisfactory was becoming more challenging and I’ve always found brackets to be the worst part of it all.I had a client who ordered her own brackets to fit the 1†rods I built and powder coated that didn’t fit at all, we then ordered these as they were available over night even though they had some questionable reviews.The rods I build are rather heavy (they don’t sag) and I was mildly concerned but pleasantly surprised when they arrived.I actually ordered a dozen to have on hand for future projects.The fit and finish is a little lacking but overall a great bracket.

My walls have cheap drywall so these hanging from ceiling were perfect. They come with screws and plastic drywall inserts.
