Ptex worked great on my skis and snowboards. Adhered well and melted easily.

Worked well filling in grooves and for waxing. It was a great value and glad they have this in clear rather than just black

Great quality but they are very narrow and hollow! You don’t get a lot of product for your money. I’ll look for the larger diameter ones in the future

Apparently I’ve skied over some rough items and I had to get those deep gouges filled in. Bought these prep sticks and really happy with how the melted material blended with the original base material. Solid quality and no complaints. Would buy again.

They’re P Tex. That’s where the good part ends. The hole left through the middle of the sticks from extruding them is the problem. It causes the (clear) sticks to melt too fast and hot. Solid sticks are FAR more user friendly and burn cleaner. If aesthetics aren’t an issue they’re good. If you care about your work and finished appearance, get solid sticks somewhere else.

I have 2 poly kayaks and snow skis. The black was used to repair my skis, used white on a kayak repair. Melt with a propane torch, super easy!! Great result, I can’t wait for snow

resulting patches are flaky and fragile- i end up having to redo every time i go out especially for bigger gaps. going to explore base welds next.

The clear P-tex works great. I’ve seen people say that it sucks and it turns black that’s because you’re not using it correctly. To use clear P-ex you need to constantly rotate and wipe on your scraper to keep it clear. The product works just fine, I’d like to see a little thicker of a stick but it still works great.

its garbage quality ptex and it cracks when you use it to fill in any large cracks.

I used it to fix my snowboard, (minor scratches on the base), but only after several runs, the old scratches appeared again!

WORST P-TEX stick I’ve ever used. DON’T waste your money.
