I live on a lake and love to kayak in the shoulder seasons especially because there is less tourist boat traffic so I can have more peace. The downside is that the weather is cooler and so is the lake, especially in early spring just after ice out. These gloves are amazing for keeping the hands warm and dry while paddling. They are curved just enough to keep your hands in the correct position without cramping but not so much that you cannot still flex your fingers. They are water resistant and kept my hands perfectly dry the entire time I was paddling. The water was a brisk 45 degrees Fahrenheit and my hands almost got too warm! I mean this as a compliment. These are a perfect addition to your kayak gear!

I usually wear a small in things like mittens, but even the small was way too small for my hands. I returned them for a medium, but even those were too small. I missed the window to return them for a large.

My hands are a bit smaller than average for an adult woman. Length from longest (middle) finger to my wrist measures 6.1" and from one side of my palm to the other measures 3.1". I got these kayaking mitts in the Large size and they actually fit very nicely. I was concerned that they'd be a bit too big but I followed the sizing form the brand's website and it is accurate, so no worries.These feel like they are well constructed. The stitching is nice an strong and the neoprene material is nice and thick. Thick enough to keep my hands warm and toasty on cold days out on the water, but still thin enough so I can feel what I am doing. I like that these do what they are designed to do without compromising any of my ability to be able to steer. They aren't bulky. They're a nice size.The style of these are like a mitten obviously, so you don't have each individual finger in a separate neoprene enclosure, but they still have a lot of functionality and allow me to grip well and feel what I'm doing. The palms have nice grippy design imprinted to help you hold on the same way your fingerprints do.They have a velcro closure that works nicely to keep the gloves secure and every time I've worn them (for hours each time, on a bunch of trips out now) my hands stay nice and dry.I like the company Tontron. Thier products seem to have consistent good quality and I always check with them first if I need to replace any of my kayaking gear or get anything for my kids who are getting into kayaking with me now as they get older.

Is there actually really nice paddling mitts, almost essential for cold weather kayaking. The temperature doesn't have to drop far at all for your hands to go numb. These totally solve that. The size chart was a little bit weird, but I was able to get a great fit. I have fairly large hands, but a medium actually fits perfect. At first, when they arrived, I thought there was no way I would be able to get them on my hands. But, I was wrong. They actually fit perfect. They were a little bit tight to pull on, but I guess they are supposed to be like that. The ad says they will loosen up over time, but I don't really need them to. Maybe to get them on easier, but as they are, it is a great fit. They are nice and thick and I would recommend wearing them anytime it's cold enough to have to wear a wet suit while kayaking. They're very well made, thick, but not too thick to make you lose dexterity. They really hold the heat in, and help keep you warm. Overall, this is a great product, very well made, great grip, very warm and built to be around for a while. Highly recommended.

I had a feeling these would run small, as gloves, and especially neoprene gear does, so size up 1 full size from the size chart and still could hardly fit them on. The issue with tight fitting paddling gloves for a dry fit is they will be impossible to take on and off when wet - definitely need to size up 2+ sizes with these!Otherwise the material, cut, and function is very good with these for the price. The logo/brand name is pretty hideous, but for the price not very worried about the graphics. The packaging was just a ziploc bag - no branding instructional information, etc, just the gloves in a bag - not a bad thing if buying for personal use, but would not make a good gift.

My hands are on the large size for women, large enough that I usually buy men's gloves sized Large or XL, but due to the other reviews on these I ordered XXL out of an abundance of caution, and they fit perfectly. I like that there's grippy traction printed in a criss-cross pattern on the palms of these gloves, and a wide velcro band to help keep them tight at the wrists. Also, the two gloves can theoretically be joined at the wrist with a snap so you don't lose one, but on my pair the snap doesn't snap securely, so I'm using one of the wrist straps to wrap around both gloves instead.

They are definitely warm . Curvature of the mitts makes for a comfortable grip on the paddle.I found they did fit small, even with measurement of my hands from the sizing chart. Originally purchased the small , but reordered in a medium.
