This is, by far, the best sanding block type sandpaper I have ever used! The velcro works great, stays in place, and is about the same cost as adhesive backed paper, and FAR BETTER than blocks that use clips to hold the paper in place. Switch over to this style, you'll be glad you did!

I bought this to use on homemade sanding blocks, then had to wait on the hook and loop (Velcro). I found cutting small strips for a micro sanding block can be useful but I do wish these rolls were 3.5 inches wide for that purpose.I found a conventional "hook" that would grip the fine loops, but I ended up with a cushion effect. If you need a rigid surface for sanding, this will not do.This does make far more efficient use of sandpaper than a 1/4 or 1/3 sheet clip-in sanding block, though I'm not sure the cost is better.

Was first time using this product, used with hook & loop sanding blocks. Used it with clip on long board also, worked great for both. Price was good also!

This is my review of Toolant 320 Grit Sandpaper Roll, 2-3/4" Wide 12 Yard Longboard hook and loop Sandpaper. I have had good experiences with this brand’s products but this one left me a little disappointed. The grit side is great. It lasts for a good amount of time. The issue I have is the loop side of the paper does not have as much “fuzz†as other sandpapers I have. In fact, the photo attached shows a side-by-side comparison of this product’s backing and another brand of sanding disks. You can see the round one is fuzzier. I compared the 2 sandpapers to see how they attached to my sanding block and found the round disk to stick very strongly while the Toolant roll did not adhere as well. This issue causes the sandpaper to come off the sanding block unless I rub hard and work the hook and loop together. Using the block to sand will also help it to fasten better due to the pressure, but I had the paper shift before this could be accomplished. I feel it would be great sandpaper if they had added a more aggressive backing so I will give the product a 3-star rating for the reasons described above.
