Great tool and kit for building custom 1/16 steel cables. The “TooTaci 65ft 1/16 Stainless Steel Cable Wire Rope Kit“ tool may be used with several size cables. I have used this kit to build stainless steel cable assemblies I use in my pond to anchor fountains. I suggest you do a few practice cable ends until the results are acceptable. Actually, very easy. Great results. Great value.

We have thorn-less blackberry branches coming from the canes which need to be suspended off the ground and in such a manner that makes removal of the ripe blackberry at a comfortable picking height. Using wood posts to support the stainless steel cable we are able to have multiple lengths of canes between posts. Making blackberry jelly from the juice, or blackberry cobbler from the berry. Gallons from each harvest shared with friends and family.The TooTaci cable and its accessories made for an easy project.

The collection of parts and cable met my needs, and were worth the cost. The tool that came with them is not very effective. I have a better tool so I threw this one away.

Material of each component of this kit feels solid. I am not a fan of the mechanism of the cramping tool, with that sliding rivet style lock, I would have preferred those with retractable mechanism. But for the price seems ok. Cutter works perfect, easily cut the wire included. 1/16 size of the wire is good enough for many light duty applications. All pieces seems well fabricated. Good kit overall.

put this kit to work right away to get my patio sun shade up. functions well and cable is strong and durable . eye hooks could be maybe a bit larger for setting into cinder block as i did. but it worked and my patio cover looks amazing. good buy for the money and will recommend to others .

Everything you need for some wire rope connections. The pliers and cutters work perfectly. Great kit for light duty stuff.

The only thing I would improve is better storage for everything. Crimps came in the cheap plastic bags and scatter everywhere.

I purchased this for hanging some lights out front to ensure that they wouldn't fall down. It could have been that I was expecting for better quality of the wire, but I was just concerned about the way that the kit would best secure the wiring outside. When I purchased this it was primarily for the crimping tool to ensure that I could also use with up to ¼ inch wiring.It is most definitely 1/16th wiring which appears best used for hanging pictures, however, I did use it on my covered front porch to hang some lattice lighting. It did the job, but made it clear that I needed better tools.
