Stops and clots immediately, thank God! I had a previous styptic powder that was absolutely useless and it caused a lot of distress continually having to reapply to nails.

Solid tried and true product. Do not buy the large size unless you own a big grooming shop or have lots of people to share with. Large is enough for a lifetime multiple dog household.

The powder is perfect but I bought this size because it was supposed to come with a smaller container to make transport easier with a smaller container. I’m a pet groomer and this is disappointing. The powder itself works great tho

I'm on a blood thinner so any small cut or scab bleeds non-stop. While this powder and be painful to apply, it works great (much better than a septic-stick)! Simply apply to area with a drop of water then add pressure for a minute. Don't mix water inside container as this hardens the power.

I really like this product. Very effective when our dogs nails get clipped a little too short. Stops bleeding pretty fast.

Love how big this jar is. I am a professional Dog Groomer. I use this powder to stop bleeding if the quick of the nail has been clipped during nail trimming. Works quickly to stop any bleeding.

I bought this because it said one of the ingredients is benzocaine. It is not. The product I received is missing the benzocaine as well as the aluminum sulfate in the ingredient list. Very disappointing. Is the label wrong or is this, indeed, missing these ingredients?

Product was not sealed probably and when I opened the lid the product spilled on to the floor
