I needed to remove a 1/4" NPT thermal release valve on my pressure washer that had snapped off and had been installed with red loctite. At such a low price I was worried that these would be low quality metal and strip or break before the loctite came free. The pipe was really stuck in there, so eventually I ended up hammering the bit into the pipe and then using a big pair of vice grips for leverage. Once I got it to grab it worked like a champ and saved me a very expensive pressure washer replacement. The only thing I wish was different is that the head of the bit is square, maybe made to go on a classic tap & die handle. For breaking things lose it might be better to design it for easy use with an impact driver.

I had a spark plug break from it's insides screw extractor got it out.

Purchased these screw extractors for a single use job. The set arrived in something like 2 days. After a little search on Mr. Google, I quickly found the drill size needed for each extractor. The extractor I used worked extremely well for the job. Decent price and quick shipping. Don't think these extractors would hold up to heavy usage, however for what I needed them for, they worked like a champ. Would purchase again if needed.

If I could afford to sue TOPEC to replace my engine I would. Total and complete trash. I should have suspected when the perfectly useless drill bits in the kit couldn't even drill metal to begin with. Or the fact that there is no tool provided in the kit to actually turn the bolt removers to remove the bolts.Then after buying new drill bits that could drill metal, and buying a new tool to hold the bolt remover bit, the bolt remover BROKE OFF IN THE BOLT!!!Now I have a flywheel bolt firmly lodged in my engine block, with their bolt remover bit broken off in it that is preventing the new drill bits from drilling it out (as in I now have no way to get the bolt out).

I drilled a perfectly centered hole as prescribed in a 3m aluminum bolt that I broke off. I tapped the extractor into the hole and put some torque on it. It grabbed and immediately snapped the head of the extractor off blocking the hole. Went thru 2 1/8†drill bits trying to drill it out.I’ll figure out tomorrow. To be fair, this small tool was probably not the right tool for this stuck screw.

Nice box. All looks good quality. Don’t be fooled, these tools are useless. In fact worse than useless since the only thing thats a bigger pain than trying to remove a broken bolt, is trying to remove it with a broken tungsten extractor bit in the middle of it

Drill bits good quality but screw extractor broke in drill hole in cylinder head which is now going to cost me more to sort out
