The other timers I've had, have had a light that stays on and are too bright for my bedroom. This one blinks a couple of times when it goes off and is then completely dark.....perfect for my bedroom The buttons are nice to operate. It was hassle free to install

I had to replace a few of my bathroom fan timer switches with these and they work great! The only negative is that they don’t have a light that stays on to give us light at night like our old ones did.

Here is good and bad. Good: I like the look because it is easy to distinguish vs a light switch. I like button feel. Press 0/1 button and the most recent time button is activated. Bad: this was designed without any user input. Pictures are deceiving - buttons cannot be read w/o a flashlight on them (dark on black). Photos are 'straight on', whereas people look down at an angle and lettering cannot be read. Desired design changes: dimly light all buttons all the time. When a time button is in use, light it brighter than all others and keep it lit until time ends. Fortunately I only bought 1 to test before buying 5.

I love the instant on feature. Just press the time that you normally use and it starts and turns off at the end of the time selected. To make it perfect, I would want it to stay lit and move the LED to the remaining time as it counts down, so as to give an indication of the time left. It is still a great timer and easier to use that the last timer that I had for about 15 years. The white color matches my wall plate well, unlike my last timer that was an off white.

So, the previous reviews more or less mirror mine…I wish the numbers were easier to read. It’ll become muscle memory to push one of the bottom two buttons (30 or 60 minutes). No biggie.Holding the top two buttons does toggle the always on lighted buttons (I have the Neutral Required versions). I wonder why always on isn’t the default. Not sure this was mentioned before. These timers do not include wires (just like a light switch doesn’t but my previous timers did). Fortunately, I had plenty of wire so this was not an issue for me.So far, I’m very happy with these devices. Thanks!

We love these things. And bought 2 more a few months after the 1st one worked so well. Our bathroom fans are no longer left on non-stop. Saves electricity.Disclaimer, I'm not an electrician, so take this info with a grain of salt.I've attached a picture of what my original switch looked like to help you know which wires were hot, load, and ground. Granted your switch and wiring may be different.I had one issue where the fan wouldn't turn off, which I found was because the ground wire wasn't in far enough in. Adjusting it fixed this.Helpful note, make sure you hold in the wiring screw before inserting the wire. This ensures that the wire will fit in correctly. Also, two different switched I installed reacted differently once the breaker was turned back on. One turned on immediately and stayed on for 60 seconds, then it was operational. The other didn't turn on but after the 60 seconds it was operational. Both work fine now.
