I ordered several of these to use as water decanters. The aerator top makes a perfect filter for flavor infused water. I have filled them with cucumber slices for "spa" water, lemon and orange slices, even fresh mint sprigs and lime slices for mojito infused water. I have used these 6 times so far, I handwashed after each use with a sponge style bottle brush and they still look perfect. My kids even like to have these on their nightstands for midnight drinks of water and since they are plastic, I don't mind, and for the price, you can't beat it. I also picked up the wine glasses with the detachable stems and the lids to go with them. It was nice to have them outside at a party, I used them with stems for adult beverages and without stems with lids and decorative reusable straws for the kids. Everyone commented on how cool they were. Very pleased with my purchase.

Initially used to aerate/serve a nice red wine. Clean up was a breeze as the decanter comes apart, washes stain-free and air dries spotless. Then used as orange juice (with lots of pulp) decanter on conference room table. Being a food manufacturing facility and glass of any kind is not permitted, my Client was amazed at the appearance and durability. I will definitely be purchasing more for my event-site catering business.

When we were camping, a friend brought out a magnum of Cabernet Sauvignon and asked if anyone had a pitcher so she could decant and aerate some. No one did. Right then, I found this and ordered each couple one to keep in their RV. It works great (of course we had to test it at home!), is lightweight and surprisingly holds a full liter of wine.

This is some thing that you use the day that you’re serving people wine or juice. This is not some thing that you pour wine in and leave it. It does not seal – at all. Reviews had mentioned that the lid was not sealing on the top of the carafe. I thought they were exaggerating - they weren’t. The lid is there to keep bugs out I guess. It (extremely) loosely sits on top. I would be reluctant to take it outside because a slight breeze would blow the lid off. I like the design but I wish they would make one a little stronger, a little sturdier, with a lid that may be semi screws on top.

I had a music festival to attend that didn't allow glass inside the venue. Our friends were all bringing snacks and drinks and I wanted to bring wine. I really like the shape of these decanters and that they are made of unbreakable plastic. The decanter fit exactly one bottle of wine and the aerator worked well. However, the lid is terrible. It doesn't snap or screw on and would not stay. In order to bring the decanter with me i had to put it back inside the cardboard box it came in and use package tape to hold the lid on. If not for that, the decanter would have been perfect. 4/5 stars. Please change the design!!

I have been looking for a decanter and aerator that is nice, yet affordable. I really hit the jackpot with this one from Tossware. I have wine nights with my best friend most Friday nights and both my best friend and I like what it does for our wine. Even though you're supposed to throw it away after use, we have been reusing it and have not encountered any issues. It's also super easy to clean and store away. I also purchased and have been using tossware's stemmed vino wine cups which I totally love since I don't have to worry about it accidentally breaking.

Thin plastic. Would not recommend. Sent back via the Whole Foods drop off desk. They said they never received the return and charged me anyway. First time this has ever happened. Been an Amazon customer for many years.

I was searching for a plastic decanter for camping and finally found this one. Built in aerator, easy to clean, and doesn't break if you're careless or when it's shoved in a bin of dishes on 4x4 roads. No, this isn't meant to sit on the table of a fine dining establishment, but it's perfect for the outdoors. Would buy again.
