My big guy has been through more rugs then I thought possible within the last few years. I’ve had rugs from all the big brands, Rambo, WeatherBeeta etc. and he’s ripped right through them all within a few months. I decided to get him a Tough 1 as it was the most affordable option and it looked like it might last him for a bit through our terribly cold winters. He’s been wearing it for a few days now out in the paddock and he’s warm and happy. All the straps were easily adjustable and it was fairly easy to fit to him. My only complaint is that it’s a little snug around his front end but not so much that it is unusable. It seems to be holding its own and is plenty rugged on the outside while nice and warm on the inside. I’m sure he’ll manage to somehow poke a few holes in it before he’s done with it but for the money I’d definitely say it’s worth it.

This is just as thick and durable as some of the super expensive brands. My horse can tear a blanket up quick and this one has been on and off her for about a month and it’s still looks new (besides rolling in the mud of course). Plus the color is so pretty and I can see her across the pasture. Definitely recommend.

I've been a fan of Tough 1 blankets for years. Any time I get another horse or otherwise need another blanket Tough 1 is where I go. The thoughtfulness and functionality in design features are awesome. Get a blanket sized close enough to what your horse needs and the features on the blanket will adjust for a custom fit. My weird shaped pony mare really appreciates the velcro adjustments at the sides of the neck. It's really made a difference in how she wears her blanket.These are waterproof and I sleep well at night knowing my horses on pasture have the protection they need. The grey blanket on my perlino mare was surprisingly lovely!

This fits my Arab well. Size 69. Like the adjustable shoulder feature. Included blanket keepers but not useable..just not flexible enough but I had my own so not a big deal.

Bought 1 for our warmblood mare she a 82 went with 84 plenty of adjustment rather be slight big then small wasn't sure but so far works well and the old lady loves it

Our house loves her new blanket! It is perfect for colder weather. We had to give our horse a spot treatment because she gets messy so easily and we were doing family pictures the next morning but the weather was getting colder (around the mid 30s) and we put this on her overnight to keep her warm since we couldn't dry her off completely and didn't want her to be cold and wet. This kept her nice and warm and I have no doubt she'll love it for the rest of the winter. The 69" fit perfectly for her too and has plenty of space for her to freely move around. The straps are super adjustable which is great!

I have used many blankets on my sturdy Paint over the 8+ years I have owned him. This is the only brand that stays closed across his chest. His first Tough 1 has lasted 8 years and is only being replaced because of age.

Product was perfect. It arrived the way it should. As someone who previously managed a horse tack chain-store and was shipping items regularly, I know how they should look when they arrive. This blanket was truly new and fit my old mare perfectly. I would trust this seller again. The Snuggit feature on the Tough 1 blankets helps those old horses from getting a draft down into their blanket.Blanket was purchased for a small 27 yr old stock horse type mare, who is in good shape for her age. Blanket shape fit perfectly.
