And this lid support hinge locking is widely usage and suitable for lifting the lid or flap of overhead kitchen cupboard ,storage chest project (toy box, treasure chest, blanket box),book case, or other wooden box,Etc. Especially very nice hinges for chest!

Great quality and design. Instructions were feeble. But I was able to go on line and for the most part, self explanatory. I would purchase again.

When trying to 'adjust' with the allen wrench, the whole thing fell apart and there are a lot of tiny little pieces that would not line up again. This is not soft close and if safety approved, I would like to know by whom. A complete waste of time.

These are great for holding a toy chest lid open, but are certainly not soft close.

I did not like this. Tried for two hours to get them to work properly. I could get them to close slowly at first. Then they would slam shut.

I love the product but the instructions were very bad. They have a video but even that isn't very good. I wish companies took a little more time for customer service.

I bought these, rated at 50lbs, in hope that they would support a 20lb lid of a large utility box. After the installation, the whole morning of trials and errors, I ended up with a hugh DISAPPOINTMENT. I had tighten the adjustment on both hinges to the max to keep my lid up. .. and it's going down fast upon closing. The lid just slammed down like a free falling boulder. There is not an ounce of resistance in these hinges to keep that from happening. These are NOT soft close hinges. PERIOD.

Basically these easy close hinges suck. I rated a 1 because they do hold a lid open. For easy close, totally useless. Not very well made. I bought these to keep the lids from slamming on my granddaughters hope chest. Almost a total loss.

Works great but a little challenging if you are not very handy. Positioning for installation is tricky and the instructions are hard to interpret. But got it figured out and it works great.

These work good once there in place but like other people have said it took a couple tries to build them as there is no instruction so you gota play around with it at first until it goes together
