Why We Need to Use TPMS Sensor?
TPMS is designed to monitor the air pressure in a tire and send a warning to the vehicle’s onboard monitoring system when the pressure drops below a preset limit. TPMS sensor can help improve ride and handling, reduce stopping distances, and the potential for hydroplaning. Tire pressure sensors can also increase fuel efficiency and extend tire life.

Relearn the TPMS sensor:
- OBDⅡ connector is required:
1. Put the vehicle in P gear, pull the handbrake, and properly install the tire pressure sensor.
2. According to the tire label (usually on the door frame), inflate all tires to their nominal value and let stand for 5 minutes.
3. Starting with the left front wheel and using the TPMS tool, activate each sensor in turn in the order of left front, right front, right rear, left rear and full size spare tire (if available).
4. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
5. Connect the TPMS tool to the OBDII interface and write the sensor ID using the OBD learning function.
6. Disconnect the OBD connector.
7. Turn off and then on the ignition switch.
8. Road test at a speed higher than 19 mph for at least 10 minutes to ensure that the tire pressure system works normally (tire pressure light is off).
- OBDⅡ connector is not required:
1. Install the tire pressure sensor correctly.
2. Inflate all tires to their nominal value according to the tire label (usually located on the door frame).
3. Stop for 20 minutes. Then drive at a speed of 16-62 mph for at least 10 minutes. The tire pressure system will automatically learn the tire pressure sensor, all tire pressure warnings will disappear, and the tire pressure value will be displayed (if supported).
