Excellent quality. Direct replacement. Easy install. Mist gray is the lighter gray color, so if you have the darker gray don’t get that one unless you want the contrasting colors. It’s not a MOPAR part, but let’s be real, 2nd gen MOPAR plastics were garbage anyway, huge improvement to an old truck.

Should've suspected when I opened the box and the stamp on the part said "BBAKE". Fit was fine. We'll see about durability.

It’s pretty simple to install it’s easier if you disconnect the rod from under the dash and attach it to the release handle first then reattach it to the parking brake mechanism. I’m actually pretty pleased with it having a truck with a manual transmission having a functional parking brake is a must id be happier if it came in a mist gray to match the interior

If you actually want your parking brake lever to look like it should, don't buy this. It was supposed to fit 1998 Dodge Ram 2500. It doesn't. Depth wise it's off by almost 1/2 inch. Looks like crap, but will function until I can replace. Wasted a whole day trying to get it all the way in to where it clips, only to find that there is still a huge gap.Addendum to first review:The second photo I posted has a brand new part I got from O'Reilly's and the original broken part that was on my truck. The one on the right is the brand new part and it is almost identical to the part I bought on Amazon. The one on the left is my original broken part. Take notice of the part that attaches to the handle. Based on the part I removed from my truck, the brand new part has that piece contected upside down. The part that I picked up at O'Reilly 's was put together the same way. Neither one fit until I realized that I had to somehow disconnect the two parts and snap them back together correctly. This would be tough to do without braking it.

Product works well once you disassemble it and reassemble it correctly. I couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t installing flush with the dash until I realized the handle was assembled backwards. I popped it out of its mounting, luckily it didn’t break, and then popped it in correctly. Installed in
