It's what I expected. Thin, light weight, not really sturdy. It does have a latch that lets you add your own lock. You will need to wipe it down to get some of the wood stain off of it.I simply plan on using it to put some meds and small things on the night stand. It's not really secure, but it will help keep things organized.

The box is easy thinner than I had originally anticipated. I'm not holding anything heavy, but I do worry about the accumulation of weight. The bottom and top of the box are heavy with splinters and the latch on the front is slightly off center. The is also a large defect on the outer rim. It definitely is not worth the asking price.
