The cover was missing on my passenger mirror when I bought the truck last week. The tabs matched perfectly with the existing tabs & snapped into place. It’s easiest to install if the mirror is folded in. I bought one for the driver side as well so they will look identical, however since it is 9°F here currently I will be waiting for warmer weather or a heated garage to remove the old one since the plastic tabs will be stiffer and more likely to break off. For the little $ it cost compared to the OEM, I’m pleased with it.

This product fit right onto my mirror was very easy to install. It was installed and literally less than 30 seconds. The quality of this product seems to be the same as the original that came with my vehicle. The color of the product matches the description and the original equipment on my truck.

Be gentle and patient installing. Once you get it on leave it alone. This part, like much of FCA or whatever they call themselves now, is a ‘snap on to install - break to get it off’ piece of engineering. Certainly wouldn’t want to spend 1/10 of a penny on a screw would we?

This item fit well but no tabs to lock it in place. I’ll have to use 2 sided tape or spots of glue.

This product fits perfectly to my 1500 Ram 2015 tow mirror cap that was damaged by a rock. Be carful with the tabs on the new cap they will slide in easily no need to force very hard.
