If you’re looking at the locks, you probably have the same problem that I did.These are easy to install and use, and they don’t detract from the appearance of the garbage cans.It works much better and looks better than what I was doing previously, which was placing unused bricks on top.

We’ve had quite the problem with raccoons. We caught a baby one in the act, and trash went EVERYWHERE. I was cleaning trash and stuff up from all over our yard, and it was a mess. We got these locks and have never had a problem again. The yard stays clean and pesky raccoons stay away.

It’s harder for them but they still get their nose in. They definitely don’t try as much which is good

In the last two years I have gone through three of the elastic retainers to hold the trash can. They just can’t hold up to the weather. So far it’s working great really good quality.

Easy to install, and held the lid on nice and tight, exactly what I wanted and needed. So good, in fact, that one of the local homeless dudes stole it right off the bin, I assume to sell as scrap metal. I'd buy it again, but I'm waiting for this person to migrate to another area before I install a new one. So it goes.

A bit fussy to install (pro tip - clean your green bin very well and DRY it before trying to install the lock), and we added a cheap carabiner at the top to make it easier for humans to lock and unlock (racoons still have not figured it out), but works well once you get it attached.
