I don't understand why it isn't working for my kitchen trash if it works for diaper pails for other purchasers, it should stop the smell in my kitchen trash!! I thought maybe I need to put the charcoal pad in the sun as it suggests after a month's use. Strange thing is the charcoal pad felt like felt to me, not a charcoal pad, but I put it out in the sun anyway, and still does not work. What am I doing wrong? Please help!! I can't stand the smell of my kitchen trash!! If I don't get help, I'm sending back.

It does work. But I can’t get the plastic container to stay closed, and the filter keeps falling into the trash.

So far, this works pretty well, but there are still times where the odor takes over. But better than air fresheners and easy to use.

If you can see by the amount of stars I gave this product, you'd see I rated it a 5 and I'll tell you why. I have tried quite a few garbage order eliminators and have been greatly disappointed but I can honestly say, NONE of them compares to this one! Before receiving this item, I would brace myself to receive the most unpleasant garbage odors then spray the area with Lysol to dissolve them. With this item, the usage of Lysol is literally a thing of the past!!!!!!!! The charcoal REALLY works!!!! And the greatest thing about this is you can re-activate the filter by placing in the sun, its a money saver, comes with a holder for the filter, durable, eco-friendly, and sustainable!!!What more can you want? LOVE THIS PRODUCT AND YOU WILL TOO!!!

While it worked to keep odors at bay for the week it stayed attached to lid. When it was shaken by garage truck arm it fell off. No biggie I had the other one that came in package. Unfortunately, with the second one the red piece you peel off the adhesive wouldn’t come off and ended up ripping off the adhesive off the cage which rendered the second one useless! Will not buy again!

I went away for a long weekend and the garbage was NOT taken out.There was a faint odor but not overwhelming. So I would say it did its job.I will continue to use it as it is better than anything I have tried and it says it will work for 12 months.Before you use give it a blast in the SUN!

Placed inside bin as per instructions! No Nasty smells from our clean bin!Plastic case sticks firmly to lid and bin is fresh 2weeks on!

Ero scettico sull'acquisto, ma il risultato è incredibile!E' da qualche mese che ormai ho acquistato il prodotto e l'ho installato all'interno della pattumiera.Inizialmente c'era un forte odore, ma dopo averlo acquistato e installato, gli odori sono notevolmente diminuiti fino a sparire.Non pensavo funzionasse veramente ma è così.Nel pack ce ne sono due. Al momento ne ho utilizzato solo uno (dovrebbe inoltre essere "riattivabile" posizionandolo sotto i raggi solari) ma al momento non ho ancora provato poichè è ancora funzionante.Lo consiglio!
