The rear 6888 (which is why your buying this) is metal. It comes with a front 6888x front that's plastic. You need to also order the 6888X separately to get get the metal front drive hub. - 1 star for that.

I bought this kit only to replace the grub screw on the rear gear. Doesn't really show it in the photo used for the listing, but the grub screw is already screwed into the silver (rear) gear.The gears themselves are really high-quality and will work as backups in case I ever destroy the ones on my Slash 4x4 .
