Do not have a pedestal for it yet, but this item arrived in 2 days and I have perched it on my deck railing overlooking the garden for now. Not hard to assemble and looks nice. Will bring it in for the winter to avoid too much rust. I found out an armillary is a measuring tool in astronomy to see how far apart the stars are.Compared to other armillaries I saw online, the price was good. Very pleased

DO NOT BUY THIS! I purchased it March 2020 and in Nov. 2020 it fell apart. The bottom of the sphere where it attaches to the base of the item rusted out and it split apart. The rest of it has not rusted so this was surprising. I contacted the seller and told them their product fell apart in eight months and requested a replacement. They replied that they would not do so since I purchased in in March. Wouldn’t you expect garden decor made of iron would last longer than this?

Very Nice looking for an outdoor garden. Not quite the quality you might want for an interior display, but for out of doors set up in a garden area, it's quite delightful and won't cost you an arm and leg. I would recommend it for a garden setting. It was simple to put together and took all of two minutes. I would give it five stars if it was finished a little better, a little more solid, and the welds were a tad smoother.

The rings were not round and poorly welded. I hand to spray the entire thing before putting it outside because It has a thin uneven finish.

The sheet metal base is so flimsy that the entire thing is in danger of bending and falling over. I have it inside, as it is too floppy to withstand the weather outside.

Just the finishing touch needed to complete any outdoor landscape project. Well worth the money. Stays were it is placed and handles very well in a windy storm.

This was well packaged and straightforward as far as putting together. I have it outside. We will see if it rusts.
