Screws within ligature weren’t stuck

Reed clamp was stuck closed all the metal is rather sharp on it. I had to use pliers to loosen it. Then using it with one of the reeds on the clarinet, the clarinet was passing too much air. The clamp was tightened down, but was still loose. Would not tighten down anymore. We tried the reeds with a different clamp. The reeds didn’t work as well. Both are not good quality.Don’t bother with this.

Had no issues. Not sure how long ligatures should last but my kid still has 3 left but the reason I got this was because we needed a new mouth piece

I bought it over a month ago and didn’t get around to trying it. My child just used it today and it made such a horrible sound on the clarinet. We then switched back to another brand’s reed and the horrible squeaky sound instantly stopped. I would not buy this again.

I’m pretty convinced that a lot of clarinet reed issues I read from users are caused by user error. These 2.5 reeds are very useful for the price. The ligature needs to be worked in a bit to eventually fit the contours of your mouthpiece and reed setup. It is very useful and should last quite a long time. Tone and intonation is is fairly good. Yes, of course there are better reeds out there, but these are not bad at all. I would buy more.
