Packaging protected the product but the battery was deadUpdate The Depth Gauge didn’t even come with a battery if I would of known this a different gauge would of been selected

Bought one and it was not accurate so I got a replacement that is also not accurate. The picture shows a piece of 3/4 oak stock and the measurement. As the caliper shows it is .75 and the depth gauge shows .844 and .846. The problem is from the very beginning that it starts measuring. A toothpick measures 3 times its height which means it is off for every measurement. Wish it worked but now I am sending 2 of them back.

Today I got my order, unpacked it, and found that there is no battery inside even though in accordance with the manual it supposed to be included. I could buy the same unit that is cheaper than the ordered one from another company but I bought it from Amazon due to my previous experience of reliability and high quality of their service. Unfortunately I paid more for unusable unit that even cannot be tested to check it is operational or not. Very disappointed with the purchase.

I had to return this for a dead battery which is a pain in the ass to wrap, box, print labels and get it to UPS but then they sent me a second gauge and it also had a dead battery and I had to go through the process again, unacceptable.

Era esattamente quello che mi serviva, anche perchè regolare altezza e distanza della fresa col calibro a volte può essere difficoltoso, il display ti semplifica di molto, piuttosto che leggere le misurazioni. Un po' lunga la spedizione, mi è arrivato dal regno unito via posta normale.

This was a good buy and is a great addition to my toolbox. I like the accuracy and digital readout, especially if I want exact measurements. As others have mentioned, the height retaining screw is flimsy and any kind of harsh tightening could see thread stripping of the unit. As it stands, I just nip it up slightly to avoid that happening but it could have been made sturdier. The gauge is by no means robust and as such, needs to be handled with a bit of care, given it's a measuring instrument. I intend to make a small box for mine, to keep it safe and for storage. Overall though, a decent buy and recommended.

Très bon appareil de mesure qui aurait toute fois gagné à avoir une structure en aluminium plutôt que plastique ce qui lui aurait conféré plus de rigidité. Cela dit il rend parfaitement le service que l'on attend de lui ce qui facilité largement les réglages de profondeur des fraises.Je recommande son achat, c'est un bon investissement.
