While painting my house, I purchased at least a dozen different kinds of drop cloths and this was in the top two for quality and ease of use. I also like the two layer paper-plastic disposable ones, but this is the best reusable one I could find. Waterproof / paint proof but also flexible and easy to drag around.

It is of good quality and doesn't let paint drip through onto the floor. It works as designed. I've noticed that people use drop cloths for curtains and then complain about the stitching! Duh! It's a drop cloth! Geesh!

‘Leak Proof’ and good size, but has a very strong smell when unpacked and spread out. Wife complained about kerosene smell for almost three weeks. The smell finally faded away. The drop cloth works as it advertised, but beware the scent.

I really like to use a dropcloth that has this coating on the backside. This insures that paint won't seep through the canvas if a big spill occurs. I have a few drop cloths from 20 years ago that are still holding up, but these new ones don't hold a candle to them. I bought 2 of these, and 1 started to rip on the underside within the first couple of uses. Once it starts to rip, it just keeps going. It separates from the canvas side and pretty much becomes unusable as you can't get it to lay flat on the floor without a lot of work. It's just a mess of wrinkles and rips!!! This one went straight into the trash can. I will see how the other one holds up. It seems better, but I'm doubtful it will have a long life.

I bought three different types of non-skid canvas drop cloths. This is my second favorite one. It stays in place on non-carpeted floors and seems like it will not soak through. It's not stiff like another brand either, so it's easy to place on stairs. I hope the non-skid backing does not come apart as I read in some other reviews.

My husband and I own a remodeling company and I couldn't find drop cloths locally that had the waterproof backing on them so we took a chance on these. THEY ARE FABULOUS! We have painted the complete interiors of two houses so far with them and they are GREAT! They do not leak through which is the issue I had with the heavy-duty canvas ones. They kept everything from getting to the good floors which means a lot less cleanup for us! They stay where you put them and do not slide on the floors. We can use a ladder on top of them and don't have to worry about it slipping. Even on stairs! They have the perfect weight to stay where you put them on the steps and do not slide all over the stairs when you use a ladder that leans against the wall or people walking up and down. I have not washed them in the machine yet but I have washed similar ones in the past without issue - and then hang them on the line to dry. I will definitely be purchasing more. Highly recommend!

The size I ordered/used are perfect for cover longer distances without to much cloth/cover in the opposite direction. Ideal for painting, staining or cleaning walls in rooms, hallways, stairways practically any & everywhere. You will be pleased with its doble sided, cloth on one side & rubber like non penetratable opposite side. Also useful for covering bushes along the fronts of homes or businesses for whatever tasks needed to prevent destruction or overspray & it's heavy duty construction will help extend the life of your investment of this product. I continue to buy more because of all the listed reasons & that I keep finding more ways to use them.

This rubber is laminated onto the thinnest, gauziest fabric, especially considering the weight of the cloth. Not robust at all, might drape well but make sure to trim your fingernails before handling.
