This is not the easy tear stuff you buy at the dollar store. I will buy more, I see the 8 pack is like 2 bucks a pop. If you want perfection buy a canvas drop cloth but this is some really good plastic for the low mil stuff.

I am glad I saw this reasonably priced set of plastic tarps. Although they call these tarps, they are clear and 1 mil thick. This thickness is not like the super thin junk that is so hard to work with. The layers don’t stick to each other like the cheap garbage so they are reuseable if careful. I have raised vegetable beds with hoops already installed. I have white freeze covers over my hoops to protect my plants. The problem with freeze covers is that they don’t retain heat like I need. So - these plastic sheets will go over what I have and I will just clamp them down. These will allow me to extend my growing season. This is a good size for what I need. Price is very reasonable too.Update:Well the freezing weather came so I used these over my plant covers to retain heat. I am glad these are a workable size and so easy to work with. I am glad they are thicker than many other brands. Not one tore, even though there was a breeze. They should work well for you too.

While plastic sheeting should all be the same at a given thickness, a lot of brands are thinner than listed. This is actually a durable plastic sheet that is good for protecting surfaces from thinset drips, paint, etc. It is in folded sheets rather than the typical rolls, which I think I prefer too. I'd definitely go with this brand in the future as long as the price stays competitive.
