These fit perfectly for our son’s Yamaha YSL446G trombone. They don’t come with any adhesive, but it fits fairly tight, so I’m not sure adhesive is needed. I put a smear of hot glue just in case.

My teenage son said these held all his spit in the right spot. Not really sure what this thing does, but seems like it would be gross if you had one that didn’t do it’s job- he says it took care of all of his salivary needs!

I used one of these corks but still had a leak. I took my trombone to the local music shop where they replaced the cork with a thinner neoprene seal. The thinner seal lays flat over the spit orifice and is a better seal. They also replaced the 60 year old valve spring with a new one. For all this there was "no charge". I love my local music shop and I'm getting closer to hitting the high notes now that the spit valve isn't leaking.
