This is the smallest hockey sock size you will come across known as a Mini Mite sock size 16 inches. So, they are great for your 3 to 5 year old hockey player. Beware though these are more prone to getting caught on the velcro shin guard straps and pulling the fabric compared to the more expensive polyester hockey socks that have velcro tabs and attach to hockey jock shorts via the velcro. The best thing to use to keep these knit socks up thigh-high and prevent them from sliding down is hockey tape or a hockey garter belt.
