I was excited about this product! Installed it the day i received it. A clear lens, LED, 8 diode brake light that was inexpensive and easy to install. It didn't match the wiring for the original light so there were some minor modifications needed but I made those changes well beyond the provided connection because I did like that if I ever had to take the camper shell off, I could just unplug the light as apposed to rewiring it. It wasn't a perfect fit for my Century top but that is to be expected of a "universal" fit. I think it looked great. Provided a strong, bright light that was easily seen even during the day. Returning home from a camping trip and started to unload the truck and I notice the lens has water on the inside. This unit hadn't been on my truck more than a few weeks and already has water in it. To the best of my recollection, there were two rain days. I looked for a way to contact the seller but since it was past a 30 return, there is no way I can find to contact the seller either to make it right. Purchase at your own risk.

My mechanic wanted $400 to replace a 3rd brake light on my 2016 ford Taurus. While it took a few moments to wire correctly, this was a great low cost alternative

Absolutely cannot beat the quality for the price. I have went through many previous 3rd brake lights for my cap and they all leak and just overall poor quality. Fitment is great and it appears to be 100% sealed WELL.

Took me 30 mins to install it. I have the old one for 13 years finally burn out and expect the new one will last other 13 years or so.

Seems to not be water proof. After 2 years the inside is full of water and the half the LEDs no longer function. So it lasted 2 years.

some my original one on my ARE z-series was all wonky, more than half the leds didn't work, the others were iffy at best, and the plastic was pretty dull.this one looks amazing, all smoked out, no hint of red. came with really detailed instructions (didn't need, them, but nice to see a well laid out set of instructions for people that might not do this kinda stuff on the regular). there was even a couple alcohol wipes in there to prep the surface for the vhb tape.there is a 2pin connector about 6-8 inches from the light. nice touch. it's really stiff to put together, but it's a once in a decade thing your gonna connect.haven't seen it running with my own eyes, need a minion, or a stick to press the brake for me while i look. maybe tomorrow, but it looked good on camera.

Can in super fast and surprised. Was an exact fit to my leer canopy. Gave a one star because the light started fogging on day two. Now I can’t get rid of the water inside the lens. The worst part, it hasn’t rained and the truck hasn’t moved yet. Will be replacing with a better one
