Picked up a used Besson from a company that cleans and refurbishes trumpets. It still needed parts from the kit. I replaced everything using the kit but noted the springs were a bit strong so I kept the brass springs . There are YouTube videos on replacing the cork in the spit valves. The lubricant and grease are a bonus making it an inexpensive kit.

Didn't realize such a small piece of plastic would vary for different trumpets, but I guess it does. Bought these for my son's trumpet (I'm not a trumpet player) specifically for the piston valve guides and they are not like in the picture in the listing. The listing picture detail on the guides looks exactly like the ones he has for his trumpet, so I thought that's what we'd be getting. The picture shows one side is wider than the other on the tabs that stick out but the ones that came were not like that and I had to slim down one side with an Exact-o knife to make it fit in his valves. Then once we got that figured out, when he went to put the valves back in, we realized they were too long. I would have returned them, but we had already altered them. We had to trim them almost to the point of losing the "T" shape at the end. Picture of what came (left) and how much we had to trim off them (right). We needed two new ones and it was tedious trying to make them fit. Hopefully the rest of the kit will come in use to get our money's worth... Regardless, I hope the seller will update their pictures (or items) to more closely represent what is sent.

total junk but I was in need of corks was going to let them throw in trash and get money back but all I needed was expensive corks owell

I found this kit very useful. I liked the fact it had valve guides and real springs. I was able to repair a Mendini trumpet with the guides. Well worth the cost which is a very good value

Nice caps...don't fit anything I own though. Didn’t fit my, Bach, 3 different Yamahas. It may fit budget chinese horns out there. Unfortunately, waste of my money...but they look nice and well made.
