Dug some holes. It has the reach. The bolt holding the two halves together is more medium duty, but hold it together. Expecting future break. It'll be a cheap fix.

was looking for heavy duty post hole digger. Saw these online and bought as they had steel handles isstead of wood. Very dissappointed when I received as that handles were not all that stiff nor sturdy,. You can buy 2 wooden handled ones for the same price. Fisker makes a great steel handled shovel and that was the type of sturd handles I was looking for. ALso they came in a box designes to ship a 85inch TV. WHY?

These aren’t too heavy to use, but heavy enough to cut through hard Georgia clay. These are a great purchase.

Heavy duty, the steel handle helps to give it more weight for better depth while digging. I would not recommend it for a small or elderly person due to the weight, but beside that it was truely a good buy and investment. Should last a very long time.
